Release of IndieVolume -- Per-Application Windows Volume Control

GerixSoft is proud to announce the release of IndieVolume, a unique program enhancing Windows desktop with per-application volume, balance and mute audio settings.

Often you have been in the situation when you are listening to the music, and suddenly some application loudly shouts or dings. You get upset, and to prevent these shouts, you go to application preferences, and configure the application not to output any sound at all. Ultimately, you will turn off sounds for all applications, except your music or video player. Eventually, you will have soundless home/work Windows environment.

With IndieVolume you wouldn't be forced to turn sounds off, instead you would configure applications to sound ok in front of each other, so none application would shout or ding.

IndieVolume allows per-application selection of playback device: if you have built-in sound card and SoundBlaster or USB headset, you can configure certain applications play on built-in sound card, and others play on SoundBlaster or USB headset.

IndieVolume supports FX audio effects: you can alter application sounds by applying miscellaneous FX effects, likewise I3DL2 Reverb, Waves Reverb, Chorus, Compressor, Distortion, Flanger, Gargle, etc.

IndieVolume allows Windows users to alter any per-application audio setting: volume, balance, mute, playback device, FX effect. IndieVolume makes a joy listening to Windows sounds...

Availability and Pricing

IndieVolume runs under Windows Me/2000/XP and costs $24.95 (USD) for a single-user license. A 30-day fully functional evaluation version can be downloaded for free at
